Looking to the market, we updated the existing Thompson barrel to bring it into the 21st century. With suppressor sales through the roof, and with the new Active Reset Device from Kinetic Crossfire, We saw a need for Thompson barrels to be threaded with the Industry Standard .578X28 thread pitch. This allows end users to mount their 45 Cal suppressors on your Thompson SMG. Who doesn’t want to do that?
The next change we made, should help avoid the most common issue with Thompson barrels, wrench flats. Anyone that has ever attempted to remove a Thompson SMG barrel knows how insanely difficult it can be. Now, you can vise up the gun, and use a 7/8″ or adjustable wrench for an easier removal and reinstall of the barrel.
Every barrel is installed on one of our Full Auto 1928 Tommy’s and test fired. You may see handling marks from these tests. And sorry guys, this is for a barrel only. Suppressor and gun are not included. We check concentricity with two in house suppressors. However we highly recommend the end user check again with their personal suppressors due to tolerances outside of our control.
